ALEX BARISI
It's like that everywhere?
BLUE
Some places are worse than others,
but more or less, yeah.
JOEY BARISI
That explains why traffic was so
nuts on the way here.
BLUE
So, you in or not?
JOEY BARISI
Definitely.
Alex takes his time answering while staring at the images on
the screen.
JOEY BARISI
Come on man, what's to think about?
ALEX BARISI
Besides the fact that there's
people out there eating each other?
BLUE
It's the perfect scapegoat. We can
be in and out in ten minutes at the
most, and it'll all just get
chalked up to looters.
ALEX BARISI
Who's to say the looters haven't
already gotten to the bank and
wiped it clean?
BLUE
How many people are gonna be able
to get into the safe deposit boxes?
Alex still isn't convinced.
JOEY BARISI
Come on, what's the harm in at
least going down there and taking a
look at it?
ALEX BARISI
Why do I have to keep reminding you
about the whole people eating
people thing going on outside?
BLUE
We'll keep the windows rolled up.
Besides, (Blue pulls his gun out)
it ain't like we'll be completely
helpless out there, ya know?
Alex takes a deep breath and sighs it back out slow.
ALEX BARISI
I should have my fuckin' head
examined going along with this
shit.
EXT. STOLEN CAR MOVING - NIGHT
They drive down the street with Joey behind the wheel as the
neighborhood around them is going to hell.
Cars are crashed into trees, bodies are strewn all over the
yards, and a one house is even on fire.
ALEX BARISI
So, it's like this just about
everywhere?
BLUE
For the most part.
Joey pulls the car to a stop in front of the bank.
JOEY BARISI
This isn't a good sign.
Blue and Alex turn to see the bank in total chaos.
All the glass in the doors and windows has been shattered and
the place is filled with zombies.
