Danny and Jared stand at the top of the steps looking down at
their barricade of furniture at the bottom.
DANNY BATES
Ya know, we probly should have
grabbed some kind of food or
something before we built a wall at
the bottom of the stairs.
JARED PARKER
Yeah, I suppose there's no telling
when help's gonna show up. If they
come at all.
They head back down the stairs and start climbing over the
furniture.
DANNY BATES
Well, you said that chick on the
radio was gonna send help, right?
JARED PARKER
Yeah, but I never gave her an
address. She said she could track
the car's location and since Ryan
stole the car as soon as I got
here, the cops are gonna be looking
for us in the wrong place.
They finally get over the wall and head for the kitchen.
DANNY BATES
So, what do we do if they don't
come?
JARED PARKER
Then I guess we'll just have to-
INT. PARTY HOUSE KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS
They enter the kitchen to see that the zombies have almost
gotten through the sliding glass door and into the kitchen.
JARED PARKER
Fuck, we gotta hurry.
Jared opens the cabinet under the sink and pulls out two
garbage bags. He hands one to Danny.
JARED PARKER
Here, fill it with any kinda canned
goods you can find. I'll clean out
the fridge.
The two start filling up there bags as the zombies continue
to push the kitchen table further into the house.
DANNY BATES
I think I got it all.
JARED PARKER
Same here.
DANNY BATES
We should probly take those too,
don't ya think?
Danny points to a case of beer in the fridge.
JARED PARKER
I don't think now is exactly the
best time to be getting wasted.
DANNY BATES
I don't know, man, those girls
upstairs are pretty tense. It might
help calm them down. I know it help
calm me down. And like you said, we
don't know how long we're gonna be
trapped up there. It could be days
or even weeks.
Jared thinks about it for a second.
JARED PARKER
Alright, here.
He hands Danny his bag of food and grabs the beer out of the
fridge.
JARED PARKER
Let's go.
Back at the furniture barricade Danny climbs over first and
Jared passes him the food and beers before climbing over as
well.
They both freeze for a second as a blood curdling screams
emanates from upstairs.
