INT. PARTY HOUSE MASTER BEDROOM - NIGHT
Jared and Danny storm into the master bedroom to see MARY
being eaten by a REDHEADED GIRL while CONNIE and ALICE are
balled up in the corner crying.
Jared whips out the baton and crushes both the Redhead and
Mary's skulls as Danny rushes over to the girls in the
corner.
DANNY BATES
Are you okay?
Connie shakes her head "no".
DANNY BATES
Are you hurt? Did either of you get
bit?
ALICE
No, we're fine.
DANNY BATES
What happened?
ALICE
I'm not sure. We were just smoking
a joint and all of a sudden that
one girl started biting Mary in her
neck.
Jared walks to the window and looks out to see thirty or so
zombies crowded in the front yard and nowhere else in sight.
CONNIE
I want to go home.
Danny puts his arms around Connie. He's still trying to get
laid.
DANNY BATES
So do I, but it's just not safe out
there.
JARED PARKER
(to himself)
They know we're in here.
DANNY BATES
What?
JARED PARKER
Down this whole street, this is the
only one they're going after. They
have to know we're here.
DANNY BATES
No, the news said they're brain
dead, that they don't think. How
could they know we're in hear if
they can't think?
JARED PARKER
Maybe the news was wrong.
(beat)
Did you check all the rooms up
here? To make sure they were empty?
DANNY BATES
No, we just kinda came in here and
locked the door.
Jared heads for the bedroom door.
DANNY BATES
Where are you going?
Jared stops in the doorway.
JARED PARKER
To make sure we're alone.
Jared continues off down the hall.
INT. PARTY HOUSE HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS
Jared once again whips out his baton as he cautiously reaches
for the nearest doorknob.
Just before he reaches the knob Jared hears a noise behind
him.
He turns around in a panic and pulls back his baton to strike
before he realizes it's Danny.
DANNY BATES
Whoa, whoa, whoa, dude! It's just
me!
JARED PARKER
Jesus Christ! What are you doing!?
DANNY BATES
I just thought you could use some
back up.
Jared takes a moment to relax.
JARED PARKER
Do you even have a weapon?
Danny looks around.
DANNY BATES
Um...
Before he can finish responding, Connie bolts past the both
of them heading for the stairs.
DANNY BATES
What the hell?
JARED PARKER
(to Connie)
Where the fuck are you going?
Connie doesn't respond as she descends the stairs and
struggles over the barricade.
DANNY BATES
(shouting at her)
Connie, what are you doing? It's
not safe down there!
Alice rushes out of the master bedroom.
ALICE
I tried to stop her but she just
freaked.
Connie makes her way over the barricade and out of site.
JARED PARKER
She won't last a minute.
Jared takes a step to go after Connie when he hears her
SCREAM off camera.
Both Jared and Danny rush down the steps to see Connie being
pulled out the front door and ripped apart screaming all the
while.
More of the zombies start to file into the house, straight
for the staircase.
