Down Time

Alright, so here's the deal. I've been going through some computer problems as of late and have completely lost everything I've written for Chapter 3. Most of the Chapter was written on the fly, meaning I didn't have a blue print or any kind of notes as to where I was planning to go with this chapter and it might take me a couple of days to get myself caught back up. I'm hoping to get Part 3 of the Chapter posted by tomorrow.

My plan was to use this post to make excuses and give you some other Zombie Blogs to fill the void, but after running a quick Google search it appears they're mostly all dead. It turns out "Zombie Blogs" is a term used to describe blogs that haven't been updated in a while. Anyway, here's a few interesting things I managed to find.

The Outbreak - I just stumbled onto this one a few days ago actually, so I haven't really gotten a chance to read anything as I've been trying to write myself but the few posts I did get through seemed really good. It's similar to mine only in that it's an ongoing zombie tale, but this is written in a more traditional form as opposed to my attempts at screenwriting. It doesn't seem to be updated anymore but it ran for almost a year so there's quite a bit to fill the time with.

Zombie-A-GoGo - This one focuses more on keeping you informed with the latest in Zombie Films. It features News, Reviews, and Interviews but again, it hasn't been updated in a few months. There is reviews for over five hundred different zombie movies though.

Zombie Squad - This is a pretty cool little site. They claim to be an elite group of zombie exterminators dedicated to educating the world on disaster preperation. They have a forum decked out with advice in the fashion of Max Brooks' "Zombie Survival Guide", but they also perform "real world services" by hosting disaster relief charity fundraisers, disaster preparation seminars and volunteer our time towards emergency response agencies.

Flight of the Living Dead - Not to be confused with the straight to DVD movie with the same name, this is a free online comic that tells the story of a seven hour flight from New York to London with one infected passenger. According to the comicgenesis.com wiki, the plan for this book is to release a new page every monday for a year with the story ending on December 31st.

Okay that's all I've got for now, I might do a post like this in the future if I get way behind again, so if you've got or know of a blog that you think I should write about don't be shy. My e-mail adress is dexpac24@hotmail.com
